Linnea - 9/4/2018

Linnea ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bite of pork chop, most of whole wheat toast, most of roasted vegetables (beets and sweet potatoes), and ate her applesauce.

In a daycare setting it's always comical when an infant starts walking because the other kids see it, but they don't really see it.  Days or sometimes weeks go by before they actually realize the baby is now walking.  I've seen this over and over!  Well today was the big day!  Avi said, "She's walking Gary! She's walking!! She's standing up!!"  Hahah!  So Atley, Avi, and Nora were lined up watching Linnea walk!  Too cute!!  It's now Official!!  Linnea's walking!

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so the kids had lots of new stuff to explore!  I think Linnea realized that, or not.  :)  She's such a busy little girl regardless, but she was having fun this morning too.  First picture; What's this thing Gary?!?  That's an old fashioned flip phone Linnea! Back in the day those were amazing.  :)  Second picture: She was playing in the legos drawer and for a moment or two it looked like she was trying to push the legos together!  She's a bit young for that!!

More pictures!  Linnea loves this spot just like Nora always did!  Just like I mentioned last week! Ha! If you see the same picture over and over you can assume they like that toy or that spot!  :)   Next picture: You've seen this same spot over and over already too!!  Linnea likes looking at books and I love that!  I love books too Linnea!  And I love reading them to the kids as well!  Last picture: Svea had just got up from her morning nap and Linnea came over to greet her.  Linnea is amazingly gentle with Svea!!  (So far!  I don't want to jinx it!!  Ha!)

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
