Linnea - 11/6/2018

Linnea ate bites of whole wheat bagel and two big servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and raspberries.  Just an FYI - My servings of food for the kids are fairly big and I'd be happy to show you what I mean if you're ever interested in that!

Most mornings: Linnea is here first followed by Atley's arrival!  Atley's Momma Megan has been enjoying Linnea's new inclination to snuggle and give/take hugs!  It's kind of becoming a routine - Linnea goes to the gate and tells her bye and lets Megan pick her up for a quick hug.  So sweet.  Speaking of sweet I took this first picture shortly after Linnea arrived this morning!  She was just sitting in the chair drinking some morning orange juice.  :)

Next picture: The first snow sticking on the grass this fall!  And it started snowing some big flakes so the kids all went to the window and were getting a big kick out of it with wonder and amazement what it was all about!!  Atley is expounding on where it comes from - she's pointing skyward - and Nora is looking in that direction!  Haha!

More pictures: Linnea with all the dolls thanks to Nora!!  Nora is nuts about the dolls and she unloaded them all on Linnea's lap this morning.  You're pretty special Linnea!  Nora doesn't give those dolls to just anyone!!  :)  Next picture: Linnea doing some daily reading!  Last picture: I just thought it was cute how she was sticking the toy (it's a big comb) in the hole over and over again.  And she was also doing it in the hole above her head.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...

Linnea - 2/28/2019

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. Linnea is such a little snuggle bug in the mornings when she arrives and I love it!  So cute.  She was saying lots of words with her soft voice; "Atley?"  Yes, Atley's coming.  "Nor Nor?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Avi?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Svea?"  Yes she's coming too!  Then she saw the picture on my shirt.  "Mickey?"  Yes, that's Mickey Mouse.  Then she leaned over to examine my ears!  Ok, I'll go get my hearing aids and put them in!  :) First picture: ...
