Linnea ate some toasted whole wheat english muffin and some dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, several bites of brown rice, ate stir fry vegetables, and oranges. Lauralea always gives all the kids loves and hugs before she leaves every morning.  She was walking towards us and Linnea had her arm reaching out...for loves?!?  Nope.  Linnea's eyes were glued on the plastic bottle of water Lauralea was carrying!  haha!  Hey, the girl knows what she wants! I always think it's so cute when the little people study the posters on the wall.  Linnea really studies them too!  Kids were at the window waving bye and Linnea was headed to the window step as well, and you can see in the picture she made it that far, but she got distracted by the poster.  :) As you know, or can easily guess, Linnea is a busy busy girl at Little Treasures!!  I love it!  She fits in perfectly here and I am so thankful she's part of our Progr...

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of everything: ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, olives, tomatoes, and watermelon. It is nice to have Linnea back today!  :)  Hudson was gone to Denver on Friday and he'll be back tomorrow.  I took this first picture of Linnea just a couple minutes after she arrived this morning.  Second picture; She likes to go to the gate and watch Lauralea in the kitchen and the older kids also do puzzles out there.  Right after I took the picture Lauralea came over to give Linnea "5" and Linnea gave her the cold shoulder.  Haha!  "I like you better from a distance!" We read some books and sang some songs.  Linnea mostly played on the steps to the "balance beam" while we read the books.  (See the picture below.)  She goes to the 2nd step like you see and then stops.  She can still reach the floor with her toes and that's far enough!  She's feel safe right t...

Linnea needed a morning nap so I gave her a bottle and she slept for almost two hours.  When I was getting her ready for nap, and afterwards as well, Hudson and Atley were singing "Good night Linnea, good night Linnea,.....it's time to nappy now!"  At a high volume!  It quickly escalated into a super competition for highest volume!  Atley can be VERY loud, but Hudson was up to the challenge!!  Ha!  For lunch Linnea ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.  I basically mixed it together and she ate the large amount that I served her.  :) These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon!  She's kind of a little monkey!!  She spent lots of time on this little climber.  She went down the slide on her belly, head first, and was using her hands to control herself.  The last several inches she kind of lost control, face planted in the grass, rolled over and headed right back up the slide!  Ha!! ...

Greetings Everyone!!  I always start Journals for my Daycare Kids on Birthday #1 so here we go!  I do the Journals at Nap Time so you'll get what the kids ate for breakfast and lunch plus 2 - 3 snippets about their morning.  Sometimes I'll include something from the previous day's afternoon as well.  You can expect the Blogs to be posted every day between 12:45 - 3:00.  With the addition of Linnea I am doing 5 Blogs a day so if they are late don't be too concerned!!  If they are not posted by 3:00 it probably means it won't be happening that day, but that rarely happens.  I use pictures everyday as well because pictures tell the story much better than I do.  And with this many Blogs I do lots of "copy & paste" if 2 or more kids are involved in the same activity.  I totally love this Linnea Girl and am so thankful to have her in my Daycare and to start Blog #1.  :) Linnea was tired when we were getting ready for breakfast so I gave ...
