Linnea - 8/1/2018

Linnea ate whole wheat toast and grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate little bites of beef roast, whole wheat dinner roll, fried little red potatoes, and a large serving of fruit salad.

Hudson and Atley were singing, "The Itsy Bitsy Spider...." as loud as possible (I think - at least I hope there's not louder volume available!) and Linnea was apparently harmonizing!  Also at an impressively loud volume!!  For added noise Nora was pounding on the piano!  Haha!

I told you yesterday that Linnea likes to look at the wall posters so I've got to take pictures for proof! Ha!  There is one row of the alphabet at her level, but it's more fun to look at the top row.  Makes my neck hurt just to look at this picture.  :)

Hudson has been gone for a few days so he was glad to see Linnea!  In the next picture he stuck the hat on Linnea's head and she's getting a kick out of it.  She was making those loud clicking sounds she does with her tongue when I took the picture.  Hudson was impressed!  In the following picture Hudson is using Linnea for a leaning post!  She's got a pretty mild temperament to put up with that kind of play.  Just stand there while he leans on her!

Last picture; Hudson and Avilene like to play in the igloo - they call it their "tent."  They go inside and then pile pillows at the entrance to blockade themselves in there.  Linnea, of course, likes to yank the pillows out of there as fast as Hudson and Avi can install them!  Ha!

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
