Linnea - 8/14/2018

Linnea ate bites of whole wheat bagel and ate grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  Just in case anyone is wondering why certain children are missing from the pictures: There are only 3 children here today and for the rest of the week as Nora, Avilene, and Svea are gone on vacation.  Then Atley leaves on Friday for vacation and will be gone all next week as well.  It's that time of year!!

I rarely look at the finished Blog that everyone reads.  I insert the pictures, notes, and do editing on a different page.  Anyhow, I realize there is a place for comments on the finished page.  This program never alerts me to whether or not there is a comment so I'm going to post my email address and if anyone ever has a comment or question please feel free to email me.  For example, Hudson's Grandma frequently sends me a note and that's lots of fun.  gsanks@msn.com

I just realized I can see Story in all four pictures of Linnea today!!  So I guess that's a clue who kind of likes Linnea!!  I was being silly and said something (which I don't even remember) to Linnea - but said it for Story's benefit.  Story said, "She didn't get it!"  (Speaking about Linnea)  Haha!  Nope, they just don't get my jokes Story!!  :)

Linnea is now very close to walking.  Her balance has been there for a few weeks, but she's starting to turn with intentionality and carefully take a step.  This is the first day I've seen her really start to do that and she's super close to just going for it!  Personally, I'm ready for her to start walking down the hall to her crib!!  Haha!!

So here are some morning pictures with Story hovering nearby!  Story gave Linnea a hug and said, "She's warm when I hug her!"  :)  I especially like the 2nd picture of Linnea peeking out of the igloo at Story.  In the 3rd picture Linnea has one of Story's slippers and she was actually trying to put in on her foot.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
