Linnea - 8/20/2018

Linnea ate some kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground turkey, ate whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomato, ate avocado, and cherries.

Well everyone is back this week except for Atley.  She left on Friday and will be back next Monday so the Daycare is almost back to normal!  We took our granddaughter home yesterday as well!  She sure loved playing with the Daycare kids, especially the babies!

I took this first picture of Linnea just after she'd waved bye to Daddy Eric and brother Anders.  The kids love to stand on the little step and just watch whatever is happening outside the window.  It's pretty busy with kids during school, people jogging or walking, walking their pets, birds, airplanes (Atley's favorite), or our neighbor Big Willy across the street getting his mail like he did today!  The kids bang on the window and wave at him and he loves it!

Here are some more random pictures from this morning.  First picture - Linnea is studying this poster. I love how she really does spend time checking it all out!  After leaving the poster she decides to take several steps across the floor!  Nice work Linnea!!  (I could spend all day taking pictures of her!!  Ha!) Nora was so happy to be back in her routine and she LOVED seeing the other kids!  Here's a picture of Nora greeting Linnea!  The last picture - That is so not safe Linnea!  :)  She gets up on the legos table easily off of the window step.  And she tried to get down the same way, but couldn't quite make it!  So I helped her down and she was immediately back up there of course!!  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Linnea played with the food toys; especially the plates.  She found something about them that totally fascinated her and she played with them for the longest time!!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
