Linnea - 8/23/2018
Linnea ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce. I mixed her lunch all together and fed her and she loved it!
Well I've got Linnea's Blog kind of loaded with pictures, but I don't want to delete any because they all tell a story!! This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when we were outside, but I'm primarily posting it because it's the first time I put a ponytail in Linnea's hair. She wasn't a huge fan, but I tried to be quick and also gave her a toy to distract her.
First picture from today: I was taking pictures of Linnea playing with the plates again. You can see them in the picture; she was shuffling them around and trying to stack them. Then all of a sudden she picks up the cup and pretends to drink. How cute is that? (The beginning stages of what we call dramatic play or pretend play.) I love the 2nd and 3rd pictures. Linnea was watching Nora "talk" on the phone and as soon as Linnea found a phone she began mimicking what Nora was doing. See Linnea's eyes in the third picture; she's watching Nora who was still talking on her phone.
Later, Nora and Linnea were playing together on the mattress and both were laughing and giggling. It really didn't matter what Nora did, Linnea would laugh at it! So Nora jumped like crazy, tickled Linnea, put her head on Linnea's tummy....everything got the same result. Lots of laughs!! Too cute.
