Linnea - 8/6/2018

Linnea ate most of whole wheat chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she had bites of ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, and tomatoes.  She ate her avocados and ate her oranges.  (And she had a 6 oz bottle of whole milk after lunch.)

This morning Atley was at the window with Linnea waiting for Daddy Eric to arrive so they could wave at him.  Linnea was thumping and slapping on the window and Atley kept saying, "He's not here!  He's not here!!"  (Louder and louder!)  Haha!  Now that's hilariously ironic!!  Not very long ago it was Hudson yelling the same words at Atley!  :)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and I'm not sure Linnea even noticed.  She was very busy regardless!  In the first picture Hudson has a microphone and was singing "Happy Birthday...."  and Linnea pretty much ignores him while playing with an old flip phone.  Atley is also singing in the background. She must have gotten tired of saying, "It's not my birthday, it's not my birthday, it's NOT my birthday!!"  In the 2nd picture Linnea is busy reaching to the back of the toy shelf to pull everything out!  :)  She bonked her head once and she was being very careful that it didn't happen a 2nd time!

Linnea is quite the climbing monkey.  A cautious little monkey, but still a good climber!!  When we went outside this morning she moved to the middle-sized climber, but it's slide is much steeper than the small slide she climbs up and down.  She never got any higher than you see in the picture, but she kept trying over and over.  She'd slide down, roll off into the grass, giggle, and do it again!  So cute.

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
