Linnea - 9/10/2018

Linnea was pretty fussy and tired so she took a nap before breakfast and slept for almost two hours.  Then I had her eat lunch a bit early.  She ate chicken, most of whole wheat pita bread, some tomato, cucumber, peppers, and olives although that was all mixed up and kind of difficult to determine the final results!!  haha!  She also ate her pears.

While Linnea was sitting in her highchair eating lunch Nora was finishing up coloring with some new markers we got.  The rule with the markers is "you have to get the lid on and put it in the tray before you get another marker."  Nora was struggling with the lids and said, "Help me Linnea, help me!  Help me Linnea!!"  LOL  That sure made me laugh!!  (Nora, did you happen to notice she's strapped in her highchair!?!  :)  A classic example of lack of logic!)

I'm a little thin on notes for Linnea today because as I said she took a pretty good nap this morning. She was happy and played well after she woke up.  Atley was the only one here when she went to bed and she was very happy to see Nora, Avi, and Svea!!  Linnea really loves her friends and gets lots of enjoyment playing around them.  Very sweet.

Here area some pictures from her awake time this morning!  She played with this little legos car for several minutes and was pushing it around like a pro!  She also played in the igloo and then went to the color poster to work on learning her colors!!  Haha!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...

Linnea - 2/28/2019

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. Linnea is such a little snuggle bug in the mornings when she arrives and I love it!  So cute.  She was saying lots of words with her soft voice; "Atley?"  Yes, Atley's coming.  "Nor Nor?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Avi?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Svea?"  Yes she's coming too!  Then she saw the picture on my shirt.  "Mickey?"  Yes, that's Mickey Mouse.  Then she leaned over to examine my ears!  Ok, I'll go get my hearing aids and put them in!  :) First picture: ...
