Linnea - 9/18/2018

Linnea ate bites of waffle and ate lots of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, bites of whole wheat tortilla, half of corn, and ate baked cinnamon apples.

I was sitting on the couch feeding Svea her bottle and Linnea got up on the couch as easily as could be!!  First time she's done that here!  So I was telling her to be careful as she scooted close to the edge.  In about the time it takes to blink your eye she turned over on her tummy and slid off the couch perfectly onto her feet like a pro!  Wow!  Impressed me!  So I'm assuming she's been practicing at home!?!?  :)

Linnea took a fairly short (woke up pooping) nap this morning.  But here are a couple of pictures before that: Linnea was getting the hang of pushing the buttons and making the music play on the Daycare iPods.  (Ok, not even remotely close to an iPod. Ha!)  Second picture: shortly before this Lauralea was doing peek-a-boo with her and I was trying to get a picture of that, but when I got close she just wanted to look at me or the camera.

I think this last picture is so stinking cute!!  I was initially taking this picture of Svea because she was successfully attempting to "stand" with the help of the steps.  And it looked so cute with her knee on the step.  I was cheering for Svea when Linnea came over and gave me this look - like - "what is so impressive about that?!?"  Haha!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
