Linnea - 9/26/2018
Linnea ate most of whole wheat toast and ate grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork roast, most of whole wheat tortilla, ate carrots, and fruit salad.
This first picture cracks me up! Very typical for her age group: try to squeeze into a tight spot, doesn't quite work, so nothing to do but scream!! Haha! But those little houses move easily and she shoved her way through! :) Second picture: Linnea has a tight hold on Lauralea's finger - it was about to turn purple so I'm assuming it was tight! ha! She led Lauralea across the room and to the window. Speaking of window, later in the morning Linnea spotted a kitty outside and got all excited and started smacking the window. All the other kids went to the window and Atley said, "There's kitty, there's kitty!"
I took this next picture because she's too stinking cute. :) We've talked about Linnea not being one to snuggle. However, she sure likes to "check in" quite often while playing. She'll be going back-n-forth across the room and frequently looking to see if I'm watching. Lauralea and I always called that "checking in" because they want to have the assurance and security that you're present!
Linnea played hard all morning; regardless of the fact that Atley thought she was tired. :) I closed the gate first thing this morning and Linnea whined about that. Atley said, "She's tired." Here are a couple more pictures from today. I love this "library moment" where they're all engaged reading. Last picture: I started building with the legos and soon everyone joined in. And that was my intention - get everyone interested then back away and let them continue building as a group. And they did without too much conflict.
