Linnea - 9/28/2018

Linnea had several bites of breakfast: oatmeal and dried cranberries.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and applesauce.

Linnea was probably here for 20 minutes before someone else (Atley) arrived and we had fun, or at least I did!  Haha!  I was observing her play and being silly with her.  Here are a couple of pictures I took during that time.  So far I haven't gotten a picture of this, but she likes to bend over with her feet still on the floor and her head on the floor looking between her legs.  About 90% of the kids we've had have done that same thing at this stage and age.  I also noticed while she was walking she was starting to experiment with bobbing her head around.  So she's obviously getting pretty confident about her walking!

I LOVE these next two pictures!!  Svea and Linnea were playing side-by-side several times this morning.  Linnea pulled out a couple of the xylophones and I thought she was going to play with them.  But she had bigger plans!!  :)  She was just getting them out of the road so she could climb higher!!  Svea just kept messing with the xylophone and at first didn't even notice Linnea was perched on the upper shelf!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
