Linnea - 9/6/2018
Linnea ate waffle and two servings of fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with hamburger, green beans, carrots, and potatoes. She also ate whole grain tortilla and cherries.
Frequently when Nora gets mad she flops on the floor face-first to whimper and pout. Linnea was messing with the big blocks Nora was building with and it frustrated her. So I told her that Linnea was just a baby and to ask for help. That didn't satisfy her so she did her flop; except this time Linnea flopped with her - stretched out beside her. It looked pretty funny, but didn't help Nora's frustration!! She was screeching at Linnea to "move away, move away!!" :)
Here are some pictures from busy little Linnea's morning!! She was at the book rack reading at least 6 different times today! Probably more! I liked this one because I got a picture of her drinking and reading! She's got this reading thing figured out!! :) Next picture - Have you seen this one before!? Ha! It looks like she's fist-bumping herself! Picture number 3 - "I'm trying to get through and someone is blocking my path!" Like a typical 13 month old Linnea wasn't sure how to proceed so she just pushed through between Svea and the changing table! And it was Linnea who was yelling! Haha! Hilarious!! Picture number 4 seems pretty insignificant, but it's actually pretty cool. Linnea had watched the "older" kids doing this; sticking their keys in the "handle holes" on the door. So when the older kids were doing preschool stuff I went out to see why Linnea was being SO quiet and this is what she was doing. She was totally imitating their play. :)
Outside time - Look who made it up on the big climber!! You little climbing monkey!! Look at the cheesy grin - She's pretty proud of herself too! And she went down the slide by herself to get off too!! She was under the climber when Nora and Avi decided to play there too.
