Linnea - 10/1/2018

Linnea ate whole wheat chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of ground beef, no whole wheat hamburger bun, no tomatoes, half of avocado, and ate oranges.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and all the kids love Monday morning toy exchange!  Lots of new stuff to explore!!  I was laughing hard watching Linnea and Svea try to play with the same pop-up toy.  I have 2 or more of everything to help eliminate conflict, but the toy that's being used is always more interesting!!  First two pictures: Linnea was trying to keep the toy away from Svea and she started to roll over with the toy, it was too big and she bonked herself on the head!  Svea, of course, didn't have a clue about that and just continued to head for the toy and was basically trying to crawl over Linnea and Linnea was trying to hold her off!  It just couldn't have been funnier or cuter!!  Wonderful start to a Monday morning - at least for me and my viewing pleaure!!  :)  As you can see in the second picture nothing really fazed them and moments later those two were right back to playing with the same toy!!

Linnea had a great morning - stayed totally busy and was very happy.  Last picture: Linnea likes playing on the top of this legos table.  There was lots of food toys up there and you can still see some behind her in the picture.  Well she was picking those up and tossing/dropping them in the drawer where Avi and Atley were playing.  Atley was saying, "LINNEA!! and tossing them out of the drawer!  That's what Linnea is looking at in the picture.  :)  So Linnea is thinking; "Hey, I just put that in the drawer.  Why are you pitching them over there!"  :)  I'm sure that's not what she was thinking; I just like to humor myself!  :)  If there is one thing I've learned about this age group; They never think what I think they're thinking!!  :)

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
