Linnea - 10/25/2018

Linnea ate bites of whole wheat bagel and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate sausage and hamburger pizza with whole wheat pizza crust, tomato sauce, olives, pineapple, and peppers.  She also ate a large serving of pineapple on the side.

First picture: Linnea was "talking" on the phone she's holding in her hand.  (I had a picture of that, but it's not nearly as cute as this picture!!  Ha!)  It was so adorable and she was just jabbering away!  That's usually one of the first "dramatic play" activities we see with this age group where they "pretend" to do things they regularly see.  Playing with the food toys and "eating" the food is the another popular one and frequently one of the first we see.

I didn't get a picture of this, but Nora was laying on her tummy on the mattress and Linnea kind of laid across her; and just laid there.  Nora was pinned!  She started howling like she was dying and the whole scenario just hit my funny bone and I was laughing so hard!  When Nora saw me laughing she quit crying and started laughing too!  And about that same time Linnea rolled off.  It was SO funny! I was very impressed that Nora joined in laughter!!

More pictures from this morning: Linnea took off her shoes first, then both socks.  One sock is on the legos table and she's trying to put the other sock back on!  Nice working at it Linnea!  Next picture: Avi was laying in front of the little mirror watching herself and Linnea plopped down and starting messing with her.  You can see by the look on Linnea's face she was pretty proud of herself.  :)  Yes, you're very funny and cute Linnea.  Last picture: This time it's Svea in front of the same mirror and Linnea joins her there too.  I love having several mirrors at kid level because they enjoy them a lot!!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
