Linnea - 10/5/2018

Linnea ate cream of wheat cereal and bites of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of baked beef kabobs with meat, peppers, pineapple, and zucchini.  She ate bites of brown rice and a large serving of pineapple on the side.

I've mentioned a few times how much Linnea likes Svea and her reaction is so cute when she sees Svea for the first time in the morning, or when Svea gets up from a nap.  We were eating breakfast when Svea and Avi arrived and Linnea kept saying, "Vaya, Vaya, Vaya."  Lauralea said, "She's saying Svea's name" and she sure was!!

First picture - This cap has been in Linnea's cubby most of the summer.  Anders got it out when they dropped off Linnea and I put it on her head and she left it on for 10 or 15 minutes.  Here she is checking it out in the mirror!  Next picture - Linnea was scooping all the toys out of this shelf that she could reach!

Next picture: The "big" girls were running from the window step to the mattress and then back again; over and over.  They were chanting something they'd made up and there was lots of laughter.  Linnea was caught up in the excitement as well and was following them back-n-forth.  It was too cute.  They were rarely headed in the same direction at the same time.  Ha!  By the time Linnea went one way, the others were off and going the opposite way.  Linnea didn't know and didn't care; she was having a great time!! Last picture; I'm not exactly sure what this game was about, but Linnea was covered in stuffed animals.

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
