Linnea - 10/9/2018

Linnea ate toasted whole wheat english muffin and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of shrimp, ate brown rice, half of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.

I don't know if Daddy Eric noticed how Linnea kept looking up when she was at the window waving bye this morning.  Here's a picture of what she was looking at.  A moth was on the outside of the window and it stayed there most of the morning.  (I just went and looked - 1:20 - and it's still there!) Linnea spotted it before I did.  What are you looking at!?  :)

Linnea was happy to see Svea and kept pointing at her saying, "Baby baby baby......baby baby baby."  Next picture: Svea had a toy in her hand and was holding it out to Linnea.  That is very common at this age as I'm sure you've seen it many times.  However, babies really don't expect or want you to take what they are holding.  Linnea reached to take it and Svea wouldn't turn loose of course.  Linnea was a little dismayed, but basically said "whatever" and wandered off to something else.  :)

Here's one of the morning rituals the past two or three weeks.  The moment Linnea hears the gate open to the stairway she heads for the big gate to wave at Lauralea.  Then she immediately turns and heads for the mattress to flop around and perform for Lauralea!  Very cute!!  Last two pictures; Atley was sitting beside Linnea and when Linnea bent forward Atley mimicked her.  Last picture; "Look at me; I'm just hanging out in my favorite chair."

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
