Linnea - 11/28/2018
Linnea ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate pork roast, whole wheat tortillas, carrots, potatoes, and fruit salad.
I love how the kids like their morning routines! And we have LOTS of routines (all day) at Little Treasures! Linnea walked over to the window to wave at Daddy, but first she points to the music (iPod - with lots of kid's songs) on the shelf. Turn that on. Check! Wave at Daddy! Check! Sit down and take off shoes! Check! Take off socks! Check! :)
First picture: I've not seen Linnea even look at this ball before, but she was reaching for it this morning. Ha! And she was saying, "ba ba ba ba." (It was a gift - autographed basketball from a friend that knows we like watching Lady Griz basketball.) Then Linnea was pointing to my shirt (with Daffy Duck) and I said, "Quack quack!" She said, "kak, kak!" :)
Second picture: Linnea was sitting on the bench reading books and then decided to do some adjustments on the bench and tipped it over. Ha! So she ended up sitting on the edge of the seat. Third picture: She was working hard to put the legos pieces together; not quite successful, but very close. From observing the older kids she obviously knows they hook together.
Last picture: This is another good example of Linnea understanding language. She was resting her head on the pillow like you see in the picture. By the time I got my camera she was done and leaving! So I simply asked, "Linnea, will you lay your head on the pillow again?" And she immediately did just that. Thank you Linnea!! :) This was shortly before lunch and she was getting tired, but she had a great morning.
