Linnea - 11/5/2018

Linnea ate bran cereal and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, bites of whole wheat dinner roll, ate olives, bites of cucumber, peppers, and tomato.  She also ate her pears.

Linnea had a very good morning and pretty normal (here) considering the time change!  She was her usual busy busy self and here are some pictures of her at work.  :)  This first picture was pretty cute because she worked hard to scoop (with her arm) all the toys out at once!  I was impressed!  Probably about 10 "little people" and she only made one trip into the hole!!  :)  It took her some time to get it organized and I wondered what she was doing!  Nice job Linnea!!

I like how she'll study the toy, do some experimenting, and figure out ways to play with it.  Or she'll do what she's observed the other kids doing.  Next picture: She put shapes into this bucket and then turned the bucket over to see what she could do on the bottom.  Following picture she has a bowl and a spoon.  She packed those around several different times this morning.  She likes to mix and stir with the spoon and then occasionally "eat" it too.

Isn't this last picture cute?!?  Just kicking back in the chair and reading some books!  That's my favorite activity and I love it when the kids read too!  And I love to read to them as well!!  Linnea likes the books and she spends times studying them just like she studies the posters on the wall.

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
