Linnea - 11/9/2018

Linnea ate most of oatmeal and two servings of baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  (She loves those apples!!)  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and potatoes.  She also ate apricots and no whole wheat tortilla.  I love how she totally knows so many of our routines here!  At meals when I bring her highchair tray she immediately lifts her arms before I ask.  When I have a wet cloth to wipe her after a meal she immediately holds out her arm before I ask.  She's very "in tune" with all of it.  I love being a part of their development and watching it hapen!!

Linnea had a great morning like usual!  :)  She really is an easy-going contented child here; only fussy when she's very tired or not feeling well!  Here are some pictures from her morning.  Have I posted any pictures of her in the chair!?!  :)  If you're seeing similar pictures frequently you can assume that's a favorite of her's!  (Stating the obvious!)  She sometimes waves at her and I in the mirror!

Here are a couple pictures of Linnea doing her favorite things; playing with the combs and she pretends to comb her hair - in that chair!  Following picture:  Using a spoon to stir in a bowl and then she was taking "bites."  Notice that she's carrying a second bowl in her left hand as well.

Last picture: Atley and Nora were playing with these dress-up clothes so Linnea wanted me to put them on her too.  She obviously likes the dress-up clothes because she left them on for several minutes!  Lots of kids think they want them on and then immediately yank the clothes OFF!!  :)  And then glare at you like it was your idea!  Haha!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
