Linnea - 12/13/2018

Linnea ate french toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate pulled pork, bites of whole wheat toast, ate peas, and strawberries.

First picture at Daycare this morning: Linnea was playing with this doll and she kissed it's head so sweetly two or three times.  I got the camera and asked if she'd do it again.  Nope, that's not happening.  She was on to something else.  She read books, played on the mattress, and she was also playing with the phones.  She bought a phone to me and held it up to my ear.  :)

Linnea pointed at her hair this morning and looked at the changing table. (That's where I fix the hair on the smallest kids.)  You want me to put a ponytail in your hair?  She was totally asking me.  So cute.  When I put her on the floor she immediately went to the mirror!  I love this picture!!  :)  Her face is so serious!!  I've mentioned this to Momma Becca a couple of times, but she doesn't fuss at all when I'm doing her ponytail now!

I'm going to copy and paste what I put in Avi's Blog about the last picture.  It's primarily about what Avi said, but it was so cute and funny and I think you'll like it.
Last picture: All the kids who were here today watching Avilene make designs with her hands on this pillow and then she said something that sounded like this:
Avi: "I'm making a bowl."
Me:  "Like what you eat cereal out of?"
Avi: "NO!! A bowl!!"
Me: (Because I'm so experienced I figured it out after 5 times!!  Haha!)  Oh, a BULL?!?!?
Avi:  "YES! Like phoning Ann."
Me: Oh boy, here we go again!  Knowing that's not what she said, but working hard to figure it out!!  
        "Like Phoning Ann?!?"  (We repeat this 3 or 4 times.) I finally get it!!  "Like Ferd-i-nand?!?!"
Avi: "Yes. Ferdinand the Bull.  Haha!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
