Linnea - 1/10/2019

Linnea ate french toast and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pulled pork, no whole wheat toast, ate peas, and strawberries.   When Linnea and I were at the window to wave bye to Momma and Anders, Linnea did and said the same as she's been doing all week.  She kept taking about "Atley" and the neighbor's "puppy."  She loves that puppy!  And I guess she loves Atley too! Haha!  :)

Yesterday her mood was a bit negative at times, but she was so happy all morning today!  I love that!  She laughed, played, and stayed busy and I can't think of one time she was fussy.  I took this first picture when she was studying the alphabet poster and the animals representing each letter.  Then in the second picture she was playing in the house and she was grinning at a visitor named Lauralea!  :)

Here are a couple more pictures from Linnea's morning.  First picture:  We all build a "house" with the big blocks.  I like how Linnea is closely watching what Avi and Atley are doing.  Last picture:  I get nervous when there is too much quietness!!  I peeked around the corner at the two youngest ones and and Linnea was busy in the box playing with some little animals and Svea was at the book rack.  Both were super quiet and just busy as could be.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...

Linnea - 2/28/2019

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. Linnea is such a little snuggle bug in the mornings when she arrives and I love it!  So cute.  She was saying lots of words with her soft voice; "Atley?"  Yes, Atley's coming.  "Nor Nor?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Avi?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Svea?"  Yes she's coming too!  Then she saw the picture on my shirt.  "Mickey?"  Yes, that's Mickey Mouse.  Then she leaned over to examine my ears!  Ok, I'll go get my hearing aids and put them in!  :) First picture: ...
