Linnea - 1/14/2019

Linnea ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of ground turkey, ate whole wheat hamburger bun, avocados, bites of tomato, and ate cherries.

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so it was a super busy morning like it always is on these Mondays!  Or as Atley called it; "New toy Monday!!"  I like that phrase too!!  I took this first picture shortly after Linnea arrived and Atley arrived soon after as well.  They were busy busy busy!!  Second picture: We also took the chairs out of the big box and replaced them with lots of pillows!  Linnea was just laying in there holding one of the dolls.

Next picture: Linnea was sliding (forcing herself) between the couch and the big box!  Not sure what she was trying to do exactly, but most likely just exploring and experimenting!!  :)  She doesn't mind being in tight spots!  Some kids can do that, some kids can NOT do that!  Ha!  (Same as adults I guess.)  Last picture: Toy exchange Monday and look at all the goodies to explore!!  Linnea was pretty tired by 11:00 so she and Svea ate lunch a bit early!  Linnea was following me around and was more than ready to snuggle up with me on the couch.  :)  Ok sweetie, let's go get you some food and you can go night night!!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
