Linnea - 1/3/2019

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of Shepard's pie with ground beef, carrots, green beans, and potatoes.  She had a bite of whole wheat tortillas, and ate her cherries.  It's nice to have my best eater back!!  Ha!

Linnea was so cute when Molly brought Avi to Daycare this morning.  Svea had her "one year checkup" so she was still in the car waiting to go to the doctor.  Linnea just knew she'd forgot to bring Svea!!  After Molly left Linnea continued to stand at the gate with a big frown on her face saying, "Baby, baby, baby."  Where's my Svea buddy!?!  I think you forgot someone!!  :)

First thing this morning I wanted to get Linnea's hair out of her eyes so I asked if I could put a ponytail in her hair.  She did a big affirmative head nod.  :)  And I had to take a picture after I was done.  Also, first thing this morning, Linnea blew goodbye kisses to Lauralea and that earned her a few extra points with Lauralea I do believe!!

Next picture: Avi asked if she and Atley could color with markers on the box so I got the markers for her.  Linnea was right there watching closely.  By the way, I'm gonna have Linnea start doing some coloring with markers too, but in her highchair for right now.  :)  Anyhow, I saw a mark on Linnea's chin and I asked Avi, "Did you put marker on Linnea's chin?"  Avi said, "Yes."  I asked, "Why?"  Avi's answer;  "Because I almost didn't."  Ha!  What kind of answer is that!?!  A typical one from a 2-3 year old!!  Nonsensical!!  Last picture:  Linnea went over to the yellow bench to look at books and Avi moved right over to make room for her.  Which I thought was very sweet.  (Making up for face-painting Linnea!)

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
