Linnea - 1/4/2019
Linnea ate cream of wheat cereal and half of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of baked beef kabobs with meat, peppers, and zucchini. She ate most of brown rice and ate a large serving of pineapple.
Linnea had only been here a couple of minutes when she started pointing to her hair and saying a few words. I did understand "pony." You want me to fix your ponytail? Big affirmative head nod! I love that! I think she said something like; "Come on, get with the program! This is our morning ritual!" So I took the first picture after fixing her hair and she was sitting on the mattress playing with some jingle bells. :) What a cutie!
Second picture: Linnea also played with the dress-up clothes and she worked hard several times to get them on. If they ask for help, I'll help them, but I really like for them to work at it themselves. And boy are they proud when they're successful!! And you can see in the picture she is having success getting her arm through an arm hole! I love that. About this same time Linnea heard the gate at the stairs open and she immediately starting saying, "Lor-la, Lor-la, Lor-la." Lauralea loves it!
I love these last two pictures! Svea and Linnea rolling around on the mattress, laughing, being silly, and enjoying each other! They are pretty good buddies already! When Svea arrived this morning Linnea went to the gate and was saying, "Baby Baby Baby." She was happy to see the baby!!
