Linnea - 2/25/2019

Linnea ate whole grain Chex cereal and ate two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of tomato, ate avocado, and ate half of oranges.  It is SO nice to have Linnea back today.  It's obvious that's she's not 100% yet (her eyes are so expressive and she kept looking at me and it was obvious how she was feeling), but she did really well and never complained about anything.  So nice to see her and snuggle sweet Linnea.

First picture;  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids were busy all morning.  New dress-up clothes!  Well, new to them anyhow!!  Atley and Linnea were the only two kids here when I took the picture and they were talking to Lauralea.  Isn't this cute?  Love this picture.  Linnea asked for help putting her's on, I added the headband, and then Atley joined in too.

Two more pictures of Linnea hard at work.  We call it play, but really they work so hard at exploring and learning every day.  And it's basically their work!  Nice work Linnea!!  :)  Then it's on to the book rack, which is mostly empty!  It was raided earlier!  Probably by Linnea!  :)

Last picture:  Atley likes to "stash" books and toys on the top of the couch.  A few minutes after Atley left the toys Linnea found the stash and was raiding it!  Haha!  But first she looked at me (look at those eyes) and wanted to know if this was ok!?!  I gave her the "green light!"  Good job!  You found Atley's stash!!  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
