Linnea - 2/7/2019
Linnea ate French toast and two servings of dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of chicken meatball (Substitute for pulled pork today. Costco had these meatballs - organic chicken - no sugar added - cheers!), ate whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries.
These first two pictures are from first thing this morning and Linnea was working so hard to keep up with Atley and Nora. First they cleared all the stuffed animals off the mattress; Atley said, "Let's move these so we can have a party!!" Then they packed all the animals across the room, made a pile under the window, and then did everything in reverse. So I guess the party consisted of packing things back-n-forth!
Next picture; they followed up that activity by moving on to the dress-up clothes. Again, Linnea was playin right beside them working hard to get some clothes on. I like how all 3 of them managed to get the shorts over their heads!! Svea wasn't feeling well today so she's not here. Svea's Mommy sent me a video of Svea so Linnea and I looked at it about 25 times! :)
Last picture: I gave Linnea different markers, one at a time, during Art and she did great with them. I usually start letting the kids participate in simple Art activities about this age. (As long as they keep the markers and art out of their mouth.) I also helped her do some stickers as well and I"m impressed with how well she followed my directions. Nice work Linnea.
