Linnea - 3/19/2019
Linnea ate toasted whole wheat English muffin and most of her dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of chicken with stir fry vegetables, ate half of brown rice, and ate oranges.
I want to give everyone a heads-up about what's coming at the end of this week. This Saturday is the Memorial in Plains for my Mom and we have both of my kids and their families coming on Thursday and Friday. I'm going to have the Daycare open as usual and the only change will be NO BLOGS on Friday! That will help free up more time during Daycare hours on Friday as it might be slightly busy around here!! Ha!! Can't wait!!
First picture is from yesterday afternoon. We had a visitor! Reid dropped in unexpectedly; not just for me, but for his Mom as well! I immediately called her; "Hey! Did you know Reid is at my place!?" (They just live around the corner.) And it was news to her, but she was ok with it. He said, "I haven't seen you for a long time." (No kidding Reid! It's been at least 2 weeks. I drive by their house all the time and frequently stop to say hi!) He hung out with us for 2 hours and the kids enjoyed him a lot. Of course he knows exactly when snack time is (as soon as he gets home from kindergarten) and that's when he arrived! He said, "You already know that I'm hungry ALL the time!" Yes Reid, I'm totally aware of that. Pull up a chair!! Ha!
Next picture: Showing off for Lauralea! Picture number three: Hey, you wanna see some attitude!? Zoom in on this picture and check out Svea's expression!! LOL! Little stinker. Here's the funny part: it looks like Linnea is trying to get the legos away from Svea! That's NOT what was happening! Linnea had just GIVEN the legos to Svea, but hadn't pulled her hand back yet. And maybe she was "asking" for it back! That "look" just cracks me up!!
Last picture: This was also a comical situation. Linnea was picking up books and setting them on the yellow bench. (It looked like she was getting a few books and then gonna sit and look at them.) Well every time she'd put a book there Svea would pick it up and toss it down. (Behind Linnea.) Linnea wasn't really aware of it until about the time I took the picture and she's like; "Hey! Where'd all those books go!?!" Ha!!
