Linnea - 3/25/2019

Linnea ate whole grain Chex cereal and ate peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of ground beef, half of whole wheat hamburger bun, bite of tomatoes (maybe), most of avocado, and ate fruit salad.

This is primarily about Svea, but Linnea figures prominently into the story as well - near the end of the paragraph.  I was quickly reminded how I need to protect the newest and smallest infant when other babies are around!!  I was changing Linnea and I looked over and Svea was standing on Gideon - on his tummy.  He didn't care and wasn't making a sound!!  He's a tuff little fella, didn't cry, and made Grandpa proud!!  Haha!  However, with Baby Callahan starting on this Friday it was a GREAT reminder!!  Svea was touching the wall to balance and just standing there looking down at him.  At that age another child is no different than another toy!!  I got kind of spoiled with Linnea because she was the gentlest one ever with Svea!!



Hey, just so you know, Linnea had a great morning here, not grumpy at all, and playing steady.  I've noticed this before, but my Son-in-law saw it this morning and said, "She's (speaking about Linnea) just following close behind you."  And when Linnea is getting tired that's what she does here; I notice her starting to follow right on my heels.  Last picture;  hanging out and looking at books with Svea.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
