Linnea - 4/16/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat English muffin and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and oranges.

Update!!  Some better news on Linnea's pooping situation this morning!  She finally had a decent poop this morning during breakfast time in her highchair!  And she never complained about it at all! It happened easily and I think it was because she couldn't do her "body maneuvers" trying to fight it while strapped into her highchair!  She screamed two times this morning by 8:15 and not again!!  Cheers!!  It was SO great to see her enjoying herself and not have to arch her body backwards trying to "halt" the process!!

First picture; The kids have been "racing" their cars down the ramps and when Linnea did this she said, "ready!"  (They've been saying, "ready set go")  Second picture: This is how Svea wore her bunny ears yesterday ALL morning!  So today it was Linnea!

I've been talking frequently about Linnea's language skills and you'll hear more about that when we have our "conference" to talk about her development!  :)  For example she doesn't just answer "yes" or "no" when we ask her a question.  Lauralea asked, "Do you want to give me five?"  Linnea said, "I want to give five."  Love it!  Last picture: Here she is stacking some blocks this morning.  Again, it was SO good to see her playing and acting like her normal self.  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
