Linnea - 4/30/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat bagel and grapes for breakfast.  Almost everyday she's impressing me with her talking!  At breakfast she said, "I want more of that."  I said, "Grapes?"  She said, "more bread." That's pretty impressive Linnea!  (And if you want a second opinion, Lauralea heard it and agreed!  Haha!)  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.

Lauralea was leaving for work and telling everyone bye like she does every morning.  Linnea said, "Love you sign, love you sign, love you sign."  And holding her fingers out like we do when we make the sign.  So cute!!  We loved it!

I took this first picture when Linnea was looking at Callahan, but then she was talking to Megan, Atley's Mom.  I asked Linnea, "What's his name?"  She said, "Callahan."  Using all three syllables and she said it perfectly!!  :)  Second picture: Putting on dress-up boots again, but this time she's working hard to pull up the zipper!  Nice try Linnea!
 

I took this last picture when Avi and Atley were being SO funny with these masks!!  I didn't even realize Linnea was in the picture until I was done!!  Isn't that adorable!!  She was listening and watching them so intently!!  So here's what was going on:  Masks are from Goldielocks Story and also the Woodsman in the story.  Avi, the woodsman said, "I have colorful hair!"  Haha!  I didn't tell her it's a knit cap!  Then Avi said to Atley, "I love you Grandma."  Atley laughed and Avi said, "Now you say I love you Grandpa!!"  So Atley said, "I love you Grandpa!!"  Then they started hugging each other.  Isn't that the cutest!?  I was laughing so hard.  (They're watching themselves in the mirror.)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
