Linnea - 5/1/2019

Linnea ate two servings of whole wheat toast and a large serving of mangoes for breakfast.  It was after 11:00 when I realized we'd forgotten to cook the spaghetti noodles for lunch!!  Ooops!  So we had more toast!  However that gave everyone something to talk about at lunch!  Over and over! And over!   "They forgot to cook the noodles!!"  "They forgot to cook the noodles!"  "Gary, you forgot to cook the noodles."  Ha!  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce, whole wheat toast, half of cauliflower, and a large serving of fruit salad.

First picture: Linnea has been doing so much jumping on the mattress and is getting both feet off and jumping hard!  Maybe Atley just noticed it today!  She said, "Linnea is jumping!"  Yup she is!  You can tell by the picture she's having fun and she loves it.  This is frequently what she does when she's showing-off for Lauralea.

Next picture: I just thought it was cute how Linnea was sitting on the couch along with Avi and reading books.  I don't know if you can see it in the picture - well you can if you zoom in close - but she's got the book upside-down.  Last picture - I announced doing some sign language and this is what they do.  All sit on the window step and wait for the signing to start!!  It's cute and Linnea is getting super interested in all the process!  Svea was "backing up" to the step, but her "backing up skills" need some work!  She was about to plop on Linnea's lap!  Haha!!

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
