Linnea - 5/15/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat toast and three servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she had a bite or taste of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, ate half of her carrots, and three servings of fruit salad.

These first two pictures are actually leftover from yesterday afternoon.  First one.  Atley had pulled up her pant leg to show Svea her bandaid.  "See my bandaid Svea."  Haha!  Then Linnea immediately joined them to have a look too!  Linnea asked her - "happened?"  Atley said, "I fell down on the sidewalk.  You can touch it if you want too."  LOL.  Linnea didn't respond and Svea seemed satisfied to just take pictures with her cell phone!  :)  Second picture:  Linnea was on a teeter-totter by herself - she kind of prefers it that way - while Avi and Svea are using one in the background.

Next picture: Linnea spotted a bird (a big crow) on the power pole to her left.  It didn't sit there very long and flew away.  She wasn't happy about that -almost pouty - and asked, "Where did the birdie go?"  That's when I took this picture.  :)  Last picture:  Atley and Nora are out today - still not feeling 100% - so this is a picture of today's crew.  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
