Linnea - 5/2/2019

Linnea ate French toast and most of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a bite of pulled pork, ate whole wheat toast, peas, and strawberries.

This first picture cracked me up!!  Linnea was putting the doll blanket over her head and saying, "peek a boo" to Callahan.  As you can see in the picture he is being highly entertained!!  Haha!  Not. But Linnea was still highly entertaining herself which is just as important!!

Next picture: Lauralea had Linnea at the table (in the background) and was doing some testing with her while Atley and Avi eagerly watched the proceedings!  Ha!  It was almost breakfast time and so Lauralea put Linnea in her highchair (which Linnea wasn't impressed with - not the right routine!!) and then Lauralea must have been singing because Linnea said, "No Singing!"  LOL!!  Cracked us up!  I do have a "no singing" rule during meal times primarily because Atley is a LOUD singer and loves to entertain the kids, especially Nora and eating times were turning into "Atley Comedy Routines!"  So I had to explain that to Lauralea.  Linnea hears the "no singing" phrase every day!!  Usually from the table kids reminding me to quit singing!!  Which is also one of the rules; if they can't sing at meal time, neither can I!!

Next picture: Linnea and Svea were both using the jingle bells as bracelets.  You can see that Linnea has one on her arm and is putting the other one on.  Last picture: I just thought it was cute how four kids were gathered close to each other and reading books.  And I love how all four of them are so focused on their own book!!

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
