Linnea - 5/23/2019

Linnea ate two servings of waffles and a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shepherd's pie with meat, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She also ate most of whole wheat tortillas and ate her cherries.  I had their lunch on their plates ready to serve when Linnea said, "I'm poopy Gary."  When that happens at meal time she won't even come out to her highchair.  She just waits for me to come change her.  You're so smart Linnea and I love it that you'll tell me what's going on!  It really helps a lot!!

Linnea had a good morning like she always does!  We got off to a challenging start because she had something in her hair.  It felt kind of sticky (which is very normal) and it wasn't fun for a couple of minutes, but she and I both survived and it was all forgotten moments later!!

First picture: Linnea was bouncing with Svea and Atley and watching Avi across the room.  Not sure what Avi was doing, but she had their attention.  Second picture: Linnea gathering up some of the food toys for preparing their meal!  :)

Next picture: Everyone is in this picture except Svea.  They were all sitting around Callahan after his morning nap and after I'd fed him.  Last picture: Linnea and Svea were running circles around Callahan in his baby seat.  They did it for a least 25 - 35 minutes.  If you place something (in this case someone) in the middle of the floor they'll run circles around it!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
