Linnea - 5/28/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat bagel and grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.

Linnea had a great morning as did all of the kids.  Everyone was happy to be back and we had lots of fun.  I've been doing some remodeling in the Daycare Room and I've taken out the step in front of the big window.  (Which we're gonna use for a balance beam in the yard.)  I have two little yellow benches that the little ones can stand on to look out and the older girls are plenty tall enough to not need a step.  Well this morning Linnea was on her tiptoes looking out and Atley was standing real tall on the yellow bench.  Haha!

Here are some pictures from Linnea's morning.  She was so excited to be back and playing/exploring with everything!!  She's filling her purse with some food toys.  (Brownies!)  Second picture: She was saying "hi" to Callahan just after he'd arrived.  Notice the tutu she's wearing.  She wanted it on, but couldn't get it off.  So she wanted help getting it off, but immediately put it back on...etc...etc.  Silly girl.  So I told her to ask Atley for help and Atley helped her with getting it off - over and over.

Last picture: (You'll see she's still wearing that tutu!)  I thought it was cute how she crawled up here and started reading books.  Gotta get relaxed!!  Callahan was still at the other end of the couch too.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
