Linnea - 5/3/2019

Linnea ate most of brown rice and ate raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate hamburger stew with meat, carrots, green beans, and tomatoes.  She ate most of whole wheat dinner roll and ate apricots.

Linnea is almost always the first one here and we have little routines that we do.  Such as, fix her ponytail first, and then sit on the couch and I ask her questions.  And lots of the same questions everyday.  "What did you do last night?"  Her standard answer; "Play with puppy."  And then we laugh.  This morning it was 35 minutes before the 2nd child arrived so we had lots of one on one time.

First picture:  Atley was showing Linnea a bug in the corner of the window.  Probably the same one Atley was poking yesterday!  She asked Linnea; "Do you want to touch a bug?"  hmmm....  "There's a bug right there!"  Then I guess she was trying to sweeten the pot a little: "He's very soft."  Haha!

Second picture: Linnea was playing with the doll on the mattress.  She took the clothes off the doll and was trying to put them on herself.  Apparently Atley was watching because a few moments later she was trying to put doll clothes on herself too!  (Which Nora didn't like!!  "Look at Atley, Gary! Look at Atley!!")  Last picture: Linnea is watching Baby Callahan from the couch and she was talking to him as well.  Side note: She'd be a good Big Sister!!  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...

Linnea - 2/28/2019

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. Linnea is such a little snuggle bug in the mornings when she arrives and I love it!  So cute.  She was saying lots of words with her soft voice; "Atley?"  Yes, Atley's coming.  "Nor Nor?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Avi?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Svea?"  Yes she's coming too!  Then she saw the picture on my shirt.  "Mickey?"  Yes, that's Mickey Mouse.  Then she leaned over to examine my ears!  Ok, I'll go get my hearing aids and put them in!  :) First picture: ...
