Linnea - 5/9/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat English muffins and three servings of oranges for breakfast.  (They are super sweet and very good right now!)  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and applesauce.  I mixed it together and was feeding it to her; and did the same for Svea.

This is from earlier in the week, but I don't think I posted it.  She has been doing "frog sounds" and on the floor trying to "hop."  She said, "ribbit, ribbit."  Which sounds more like "rabbit rabbit."  Haha! When Lauralea appeared this morning Linnea wanted to make sure Lauralea noticed Callahan.  She said, "Cal over here."  So cute!!

First picture:  Linnea is gesturing to Lauralea (Lauralea is heading out the door) holding out her hands saying, "love you sign, love you sign."  Nice job Linnea.  (Look how long her hair is getting!!)  Second picture: Atley started doing this on the floor while a couple others were finishing breakfast.  Svea joined her first and then it's Linnea in this picture!!  How cute is that?!?  Atley said, "I am doing exercising."  Then she added, "Do it like this Svea!!"  Haha!  Synchronized exercising!!

Last picture: Well here's Linnea with her "mentor" - at least Nora is her mentor for anything relating to infant care!!  :)  These are two little mommies with lots of nurturing instincts!!  Nora was playing by herself on the mattress and Linnea came and joined her.  They never did interact, just parallel type of playing.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...

Linnea - 2/28/2019

Linnea ate waffle and fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of shepherd's pie with meat, carrots, potatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat tortillas and her cherries. Just in case anyone is interested:  Child Care Resources is celebrating 50 years in the Missoula community with free rides and free Ice Cream at the Carousel on March 12th, 5:30 - 7:00.  Bring friends and family.  All ages of kids are welcome. Linnea is such a little snuggle bug in the mornings when she arrives and I love it!  So cute.  She was saying lots of words with her soft voice; "Atley?"  Yes, Atley's coming.  "Nor Nor?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Avi?"  Yes, she's coming.  "Svea?"  Yes she's coming too!  Then she saw the picture on my shirt.  "Mickey?"  Yes, that's Mickey Mouse.  Then she leaned over to examine my ears!  Ok, I'll go get my hearing aids and put them in!  :) First picture: ...
