Linnea - 6/17/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat Chex cereal and peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, half of whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of avocado, bites of tomatoes, and ate her oranges.  Breakfast conversation went like this;  Nora said, "I have a new room."  Avi said, "I have a new bed."  Even Linnea got in on this conversation; "I have a nap mat."  That was SO cute.  Not real "new," but close enough!  Atley said, "I have a new house."  Nora said, "Gary has a new baby and blanket!"  Referring to the Toy Exchange!!  Haha!!

First picture: We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and Linnea went for the dress-up clothes first!!  She had this stuff on (with help from me - when she asked for assistance) and I took the picture before Daddy and Anders even got to the window to wave bye this morning.

Here are some more pictures from Linnea's busy morning.  She was holding a doll wrapped in a blanket and singing, "Rock-a-bye-baby."  It may be hard to see in the picture, but she's wearing some cowgirl boots.  Or as Avi said, "NO! Cowboy boots!!"  Second picture: Svea was yelling and pointing and she'd spotted a bird outside.  So Linnea joined her at the window and they watched it and talked about it for a couple of minutes.  :)  Last two pictures: Linnea playing with some of the "new" toys.  She has those boots on again.  With no socks.  I took them off for lunch time and her feet were hot!  Ha!

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
