Linnea - 6/26/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of pulled pork, bites of whole wheat bun, ate peas, and strawberries.

The first two pictures are leftover from yesterday afternoon.  There are small apples falling off the neighbor's apple tree and the kids have been picking them up and tossing them around the yard.  So I went and got the garbage basket (semi-hidden behind Avi) and gave them a place to toss the little apples.  Right now the apples are "choke-able size" and that makes me very nervous!!  So I'll be doing some major branch cutting this weekend!!  (I do have an agreement with my neighbor, just in case you thought you might be reading about me in the paper!!  "Neighbor destroys Neighbor's apple tree!!"  Haha!!)

This second picture is also left over from yesterday afternoon when the kids got up from their naps.  It was cute how Svea and Linnea arranged themselves to read books.  Nora was actually laying there first and it was really surprising that she didn't loudly protest the invasion.  Nora even tucked her legs up tighter to make more room for them.  :)

Next picture: Linnea checking out Callahan from a different angle!!  Ha!  Following picture: These two little goofballs were bonking their heads on the window and then saying, "OW!" after every bonk.  And they were giggling about how hilarious they are.  :)  Linnea was the first to quit and she put her hand on her head as if to say, "what was I doing that for!?!"  Which did actually surprise me because Linnea seems to have a fairly low tolerance for pain from my perspective!!  Last picture: Building with the legos.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
