Linnea - 7/25/2019
Linnea ate two servings of waffles and two servings of fruit salad for breakfast. For lunch she ate shepherd's pie with meat, potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots. She ate whole wheat tortillas, and cherries.
This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon. Linnea might be a year plus three months younger, but Nora was thrilled to just kick back, suck her thumb, and ride up and down the sidewalk!! ha! Avi was complaining because Linnea is not yet an experienced driver when meeting someone on the sidewalk. "You gotta move!!" Ha!
Next picture: A BIG moment at Little Treasures! Linnea has building up to this for several weeks now. Actually "jumping" off the balance beam onto the mattress. I usually have to coach them to stand on the yellow part (see picture), but Linnea totally was doing that on her own. Good decision Linnea. At first she'd just squat and bounce like she was really gonna jump big! Then she'd just step off. Ha! Now before you know it she'll be jumping off the top of the igloo! Haha!! She was mimicking the "older" kids and counting before jumping; "1 2 3 4" she said, and then jumped.
Last picture: These two were on the couch, one on each end, independently reading books. Svea started dinking and rolling around and ended up right beside Linnea and Linnea was totally fine with it. A couple of cuties!! Side note; I always put these two in their highchairs at the same time and lately, usually with Svea leading the chants, they start yelling, "MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE" and grinning at each other. Goofballs. :) Linnea is just mimicking Svea. Another side note: Linnea's language continues to impress me. (When I can understand her!! Ha!) Tons of words AND good sentences!! She told Lauralea this morning that "Callahan is sleeping; in that bedroom." As she pointed down the hall to his bedroom.
