Linnea - 8/28/2019
Linnea ate half of whole wheat toast and two servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of ground beef mixed with marinara sauce served on top of whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate most of cauliflower, and ate fruit salad.
It was so wonderful to see Linnea this morning!! It felt like a long time!! And she was very snuggly and happy to be here too. I took this first picture right after Callahan arrived and he was grinning and happy to see Linnea too. They obviously can't express their feelings, but the joy on their face and their behavior says a lot!! :)
Linnea and Svea played close to each other all morning!! And I've got some pictures to back up that statement. :) There was only one time when Linnea wanted some space to be alone by herself; "No Svea, no!! I'm pooping, I'm pooping, I'm poopiing!! :) (FYI - She didn't poop.) Next picture; They were playing with the food toys and as I was taking a picture Svea started digging for more goodies!!
Next picture; They were pretty hilarious dinking around on the mattress and jumping off the climber. This age is so comical and interesting to me how they can play that close together - pretty much side-by-side, but never actually have any physical contact. Well except for the occasional accident like the following picture. You can see what is about to happen when Svea swings that Tamborine down. It's gonna bonk Linnea in the head, except this time Svea managed to bonk herself. Ouch.
Last picture; Well they are up to their old tricks. Svea never got up on these toy shelves once while Linnea was gone, but it didn't take them long to head up there this morning. Except this time Svea thought she was stuck and couldn't (wouldn't) get down. :)
