Linnea - 9/10/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat English muffin and half of her dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken with stir fry vegetables, bite of brown rice, and ate her oranges.  Atley will occasionally go to the bathroom to wash her hands at meal time; then she doesn't have to wait in line to wash at the kitchen sink.  When Linnea saw her go in there she informed me; "Atley gonna wash in the bathroom."  It always surprises me when the little ones say something like this!!  They're totally watching, monitoring, and know what's going on around here!!

First picture: Linnea just started doing this - I've seen it many times and it's just an age appropriate stage - and it's kind of funny, but very serious to her!!  I always call it "stock piling" the toys.  She doesn't really want to play with them, but definitely doesn't want anyone else to play with them either!!  As you can see in the second picture Callahan made his way over to the pile and initially Linnea screamed and burst into tears.  :)  "How dare you invade me toy supply!!!!"  But she quickly recovered and this picture was taken after his "assault" on the toy supply.  :)  She's still not happy, but she's not crying either.  Just keeping a close eye on him!

Last picture - four kids wearing their crash helmets on the airplane!!  Haha!  Wearing their hard hats. I like how Linnea has her's on backwards!!  We played outside this morning while Callahan took his morning nap.

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
