Linnea 9/25/2019

Linnea ate whole wheat toast and two serving of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce, whole wheat spaghetti noodles, riced cauliflower (I mixed it with the meat and sauce and she liked that), and ate fruit salad.

First picture; Dress up clothes of course!!  Nothing sets off a tutu like a pair of rabbit ears!!  Second picture;  Atley always plays with Linnea when it's just those two here!  (Or those two plus Callahan.) She's showing Linnea where to find the door bell.  (I believe she already knows about it Atley!!  Ha)

Next 2 pictures: The kids were being rowdy and scattering blocks again; that is a favorite activity and Atley is one of the main instigators.  I like how Linnea is looking up at me; oh oh everyone, we've got company!!  Haha!!  So we built some sidewalks and they played on those for awhile.

Last two pictures; Linnea had been playing in the swivel/rocker chair for a long time.  When she got off she kept asking, "Where's Svea, where's Svea, where's Svea?"  "In the cozy corner."  (Like right in front of you! Ha!)  So Linnea joined Svea to read some books.  Last picture; Now they're clearing all the food toys out of the first two bottom shelves.  (Notice the top shelves have been recently emptied too!  They've been busy!)  They started playing with the food toys and Linnea said, "I'm making baby food."  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
