Linnea - 10/23/2019

Linnea ate most of whole wheat toast and ate a large serving of mangoes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, riced cauliflower (I fed her), and two servings of fruit salad.

First two pictures - I fixed Linnea's hair right after she arrived and she said, "Will you snuggle me?" Haha.  That's a tough job Linnea, but I think I can handle that!!  :)  First picture is one of the selfies we did.  Second picture; She was laying there watching Svea and I had to move fast to catch this.  And it didn't last long, but I got it!!  It's adorable!!  What a cutie.

Linnea looked at the books I selected for Story Time.  (These are our "special books" that only I can reach.)  She said, "Grandma house, Grandma house."  You are so right Linnea!  First lines of the book: "Over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house we go...."
Another note about Linnea: The mail truck was putting mail in our box and Linnea said, "mail's coming."  Then after it left she said, "The mail's not coming anymore."  Haha!  That's such a cute way to phrase it.

Last two pictures;  First things first - Svea and Linnea cleared the stuffed animals off the mattress (see bottom of picture) and then were ready to jump.  And just in case someone is wondering if Svea went off backwards!?!  The answer is yes.  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
