Linnea - 10/92019

Linnea ate half of whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch: she ate half of pork roast, half of whole wheat tortillas, ate hash browns, sweet potatoes, and a large serving of fruit salad.

It was so nice to see Linnea this morning!!  Totally missed this sweet little girl.  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and of course she instantly said, "You got new toys, you got new toys."  First picture - She picked up this book and brought it to me saying, "mack mack mack."  Yup, that book is "Miss Mary Mack Mack Mack."  :)  We do toy exchanges every 2 weeks.  And we have 8 toy exchanges.  So she hasn't seen this book for over 16 weeks.  Nice job of remembering the name!!! There is a tune which accompanies this book so that's helps with remembering - especially for "song kids" like Linnea and Atley!!

Next picture; Garbage workers with their truck!  The highlight of the morning.  The kids sprint for the window when we notice the workers!  :)  Following picture;  Well Linnea is back!  Nobody scattered blocks around during the four days when Linnea was gone.  Ha!  Linnea said, "We're building!"  Well Svea is building a tower, but slinging blocks around is not really "building!!"  Haha!

Last picture; Linnea had been playing with the dress-up clothes and now she's obviously using the doll blankets for a wrap-around skirt.  :)  She's focused on whatever Atley and Avi were doing.  Linnea noticed Lauralea coming to the gate and Linnea sprinted for the mattress to show-off!  "I can do a somersault!!  :)

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
