Linnea - 12/3/2019

Linnea ate two servings of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat tortilla, corn, and apple slices.

First picture: I moved puzzles out into the Daycare room so the little ones have access to puzzles and can learn how to do them too.  (Then the "older" kids can help the younger ones.  IF they will accept the help!)  Linnea didn't play with them yesterday, but this was one of the first things she did this morning.  She got most of it done and struggled with the last two pieces.  She got mad and threw a puzzle piece.  It was hard not to laugh.

Next picture: Linnea was playing with this stuffed frog for a long time and she was also jumping on the mattress.  I called him, "Mr. Froggy."  Linnea said, "Mr. Froggy is upside-down."  And that's true; she was carrying him upside-down around the back of her neck.

Next picture; Linnea had All the stuffed animals and she was laying on the majority of them and playing under the blue balance beam.  Callahan (you can see a piece of him upper left) started crawling under there too and Linnea didn't like that.  "No Callahan, no Callahan!"  So I got him out so she could keep playing.  Last picture: Got their little band going and it's heavy to drums.

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 2/3/2020

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/8/2020

Linnea ate some bran cereal and a few raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate chicken, whole wheat pita bread, two servings of cucumber, two servings of avocado, and two servings of pears. This first picture is taken right after waving bye to Momma Megan.  Atley is a big girl, but from this angle, plus the fact she's on the top of the bench back railing, it makes her look huge and Linnea tiny. Funny picture.  They were looking at a worm taking refuge from the wet grass laying on the sidewalk again.  They got excited when it moved.  "It's moving Gary!  It's moving!!" Next picture; All five girls were playing on the balance beam and it was their "airplane."  Nora was actually the one that got this started while playing with Svea and Linnea.  Avi and Atley soon joined them and when I took the picture Atley said, "Ok everybody get on the airplane.  Put your seatbelts on."  :)  The picture makes it obvious that Avi and Atley kind...
