Linnea - 1/27/2020

Linnea ate kix cereal and two servings of mixed fruit for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground turkey, whole wheat hamburger bun, tomatoes, avocado, and two servings of cherries.  It was SO NICE to have Linnea back!!  I missed her!!  She gave me the sweetest loves this morning.  Two or Three times and it was adorable.  I asked her about her cousin's name and she said, "I don't know."  Haha.  So I showed her the picture you sent me and of course that helped!!  She said, "That's my friend."  Then she said her cousin's name and I never got it right because she kept saying, "no."  "Cara, no.  Tara, no.  Sara, no."  It was starting to frustrate her that I wasn't getting it, so I changed the subject.  haha.

Here are some pictures from Linnea's busy busy morning.  We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and all the kids stayed very busy this morning.  First picture - she's putting on the hard-hat while Callahan keeps a close eye on her.  Then in the second picture she's got some dolls and doll accessories to work with.  Linnea and Callahan were the only ones here when I took these first two pictures.

Next picture: Svea and Linnea hard at work/play.  They jumped on the mattress, rolled around on the mattress giggling and laughing, and basically played near each other most of the morning.  Last picture: Atley was also happy to see her friend Linnea.  Those two had the puzzles on the couch and were working hard to get the pieces in the right places.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
