Linnea - 5/1/2020

Linnea arrived late and was too engaged and excited to worry about breakfast!!  For lunch she ate two servings of tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, green beans, and two servings of applesauce.

WOW! It was SO nice to see Linnea today and we ALL had a wonderful morning!!  The kids played so well together - a few moments of arguing about who got to play with Linnea, but overall it was amazingly awesome!!  Does it sound like I missed her?!?  Yup, I did.  Two or three times she'd say, "I love you Gary."  Heart melt!!  She asked about Callahan who is not here today.  Then when I got Miles up from his morning nap and laid him on the floor I said, "I'll get you some toys Miles."  Linnea immediately said, "I will get him some toys."  :)  Thank you Linnea.

This first picture was pretty funny!!  There were two things going on at the same time.  Avi was busy quizzing Linnea about the color chart; "Is this purple!?  Is this purple!?  Is this purple?!?"  At the same time Svea was trying to get Linnea to look at her cheerleader dress.  "Go Vikings. Go Vikings. Go Vikings."  Haha.

Next picture: These two girls started playing just like this; like nothing had changed and nothing was different.  So cute.  Kids are so funny that way.  So totally UNLIKE adults.  They are so "in the moment."  When Linnea walked in she immediately just started telling me what was in her backpack. In the next picture Linnea and Svea were playing separately, but close to each other just like they always have.  

I took this last picture when Nora was getting a skirt turned right-side out for Linnea to try on.  This is a nice picture of Linnea.  I fixed her hair and she went and got a dress from the dress-up rack.  And it actually fits her really well.  So cute.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
