Linnea - 6/5/2020

Linnea ate a large bowl of cream of wheat cereal and half of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of whole 30 chili with meat, peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.  She ate half of whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of tropical fruit.

Immediately after arrival this morning Linnea was trying to tell me something and I was having a hard time understanding her, but with Lauralea's help we eventually figured it out.  She was saying, "Ate chocolate brownie bar in the car!"  I thought she was talking about "a bouncy ball in the car." Haha.  I guess the leftover chocolate on her face should have been a clue.  :)

This first picture is leftover from yesterday afternoon.  The kids spotted a bug high on the wall and they were all yelling "spider spider!!"  So I took care of the spider, but it was actually a small beetle. I missed the opportunity when these two kids were pointing at the bug, but if you look close you can see Linnea is looking upwards.

Next 2 pictures; I'd just finished fixing Linnea's hair and she was watching Atley play with the cars. Look at Linnea's pretty little face.  (I know I don't need to tell Mommy that!  Haha.)  Linnea watched for a few minutes and then got down and joined Atley.

Nora was making a "bridge" and the kids were crawling under the bridge.  They play this game frequently, but today after crawling under Svea wanted to be the bridge.  Which was pretty hilarious.  Linnea is by the mirror after crawling under.

Linnea ate cheerios and banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of ground beef, ate whole wheat pita bread, olives, avocado, and strawberries. First picture: I love how Linnea likes to snuggle and say, "I love you Gary."  So precious!!  Especially first thing in the morning before too many other kids arrive and then it's busy time!!  This was a selfie when she was snuggling me and then she asked, "Can you send that to my Mom?"  :)  Following picture: I had a phone appointment with an insurance agent so Lauralea was reading to the kids for me.  Lauralea was pretending to cry when Peter Rabbit was stuck in the fence.  Even though Svea wasn't on the couch she was listening and she immediately said, "Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry.  Don't cry Lauralea, don't cry." Linnea - 6/12/2020

Linnea ate oatmeal and apple pieces for breakfast.  For lunch she ate a large serving of hamburger stew with meat, carrots, tomatoes, and green beans.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and two servings of apricots. Yesterday afternoon probably 30 minutes after you guys picked up Linnea and left on your bicycle, it started to rain.  That really caused Atley to be concerned.  It was SO sweet!!  She said, "I hope Eric, Becca, and Linnea don't get wet.  And Anders."  :)  That was so thoughtful Atley. First picture:  Nothing too much to say about this picture; other than these three were just having fun giggling and enjoying each other.  Following picture: The kids love the mirrors!!  They set up their "horsey rides" so they could watch themselves in the mirror!  I tried for several minutes to get a picture with all 4 of these kids on their horse.  Ha!  About the time two or three would get on their horse then one ...

Linnea - 6/9/2020

Linnea ate blueberry muffin and ate two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate two servings of shrimp, ate brown rice, a large serving of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.  At breakfast Svea told Linnea; "Here's your high chair Linnea."  Linnea was SO excited!  She acted like the chair had been missing!!  "Svea found my high chair Gary!!  Svea found my high chair!!"  :)  Also at breakfast time Avilene said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has a LOT of money in it!!"  Linnea said, "My Mom has a wallet and it has dinosaurs in it."  LOL First picture; Linnea got down and said "hi" to Miles and I happened to have the camera ready.  She doesn't really like to cooperate if I try to recreate a scene so I have to catch her in the moment!!  Ha.
